.A Breakfast Club interview went left on Friday morning (April 22) after Cash Money chief Birdman paid Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy a two-and-a-half-minute visit.
The rap mogul (who also goes by Baby) wasn't exactly pleased upon entering the room, saying, "I'm gon' start this shit straight telling y'all: Stop playing with my name."
"N---a, when my name come up, respect it," he added as he took a seat. While C Tha God tries to get Baby to air out his grievances on record, Stunna continued being hostile toward the morning crew.
"Ain't no issue," he said. "If there was a issue, you'll feel me. I just come here to let y'all know to put some respect on my name." He offers these final words before rolling out with his entourage, "Are y'all finished or are y'all done? I ain't got no more talkin'."
It's unclear what set Birdman off exactly, but it was positive vibes on Charlamagne's side. "Birdman Trending, Charlemagne trending, that's not how I spell it but I'll take it," he wrote on his Instagram. "Always keep the cameras rolling!!!"
Birdman also sat down with the Breakfast Club's fellow Power 105.1 comrade Angie Martinez for what was presumably a lengthier Q&A, described as his "most personal interview ever." Sources also tell TMZ that he has apologized to DJ Envy.
Billboard has reached out to Birdman's rep for comment.
