12:30 p.m. The third day of Coachella kicked off with the shoegazey trio Mint Field from Tijuana, Baja California. Performing in front of a small crowd that cheered on the young talent’s debut at the festival, Andrés, Estrella and Amor made sure to make this a memorable performance giving it their all onstage. The Mexican band took advantage of their 30-minute performance to show-off their musical abilities by switching from indie rock to alternative and vice-versa. - Griselda Flores
2:00 p.m. Cholo-goth duo Prayers gave Sunday’s sermon at the Mojave stage. “It’s Sunday, you better be saying your prayers,” said San Diego band’s frontman to a crowd that was more than ready to worship the duo’s music. The throbbing beats of the electronic rock music resonated with the powerful message the band sent out about Donald Trump. “Do not allow a piece of s**t like Trump to divide us. 3:42 p.m. Following Claptone's Immortal Live performance, Thomas Jack took the reins at the Sahara stage. The long-locked Aussie artist drew a sizable crowd for his groove-laden tropical beats, which perfectly fit the sunny Sunday afternoon atmosphere - Matt Medved
3:46 p.m. The cello made an appearance at Coachella, as shape-shifting rocker Meg Myers hits the Gobi Stage. The set kicked off with Myers’ lustful, intense Nine Inch Nails-esque single “Desire.” - Chris Payne.
